ONE OF LOS ANGELES' LARGEST NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER SERVICES TO BE BROADCASTED NATIONWIDE
Several Christian Organizations and Churches of Different Denominations Unite to Recognize the National Day of Prayer Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA (May 7, 2009) - Hollywood Prayer Network (HPN) is leading in partnering several different Christian organizations and churches in the West Los Angeles area and in the San Fernando Valley to bring a National Day of Prayer worship and prayer service hosted by Bel Air Presbyterian Church on Thursday, May 7, 2008 at 7:30 pm. The theme for this year's event is "Prayer . . . America's Hope". This event will unite believers in West Los Angeles and in the San Fernando Valley to gather and pray for our nation.
Hollywood Prayer Network, Westside Shepherd of the Hills Church, Bel Air Presbyterian Church, The Beacon, Arts & Entertainment Ministries, Calvary Chapel Westside, Faithful Central, The Greenhouse, Metro Calvary Church, Mosaic Church, and Hollywood Connect, are working together to create this service to encourage thousands to pray. Pastor Mark Brewer of Bel Air Presbyterian Church, Eric Close from Without a Trace, Richard Mouw, President of Fuller Seminary are just a few of the intercessors. This is an incredible nationwide event where thousands of churches and ministries nationwide will unite to bring millions together in prayer.
Nearly 500 people are expected to attend the National Day of Prayer Los Angeles event. The National Day of Prayer Los Angeles will be one of the only two satellite sites in the country to broadcast the service and will podcast on the National Day of Prayer site, http://www.ndptf.org.
Representatives from numerous churches and Christian organizations will be leading a number of prayers and worship, along with private Prayer Stations for individuals to pray and receive more focused prayer. All are invited to attend to pray with one another. Parking is free. Bel Air Presbyterian Church is located at 16221 Mulholland Drive, Los Angeles, California 90049.
